There's no way I can just tell you about it, unfortunately. It wouldn't carry nearly the same effect as seeing the video for yourself.

I was thinking of typing out what the professor is saying so those without RealPlayer would know what's it all about BUT there is no way mere words can send the impact home like the actual video will.

heh I found a torrent link to an mp4 of only the important bit ... and you're right, it would've been worth getting realplayer for, but luckily it didn't have to come to that :D

I e-mailed it to everyone I know, and put it in my AIM profile. That's how much I enjoyed it. I couldn't live with myself if I didn't share that kind of brilliance with the rest of the world. Not only do laptops get stolen regularly, but laptop hard drives FAIL regularly. 100% of our data is on regularly backed-up network shares, and business critical data is stored in multiple secure network locations as well. That's security. Laptops aren't secure. Ever.

I'm thinking someone did indeed steal his laptop, and they did indeed find out who stole it, but that it didn't have any of that top secret information he said it did. He already knows who stole it, but he wanted to get the guilty party to come forward and return it rather than have to have the police get a warrant to find it. That's what I think actually happened.
