Edit: I was on a clinical placement and we were at a nursing home. I was interviewing this old lady, and she started telling me a story about when she was in hospital and she had "a lovely young doctor, who was the same nationality as you." What she meant of course, was that the doctor was some sort of brown person, probably of South Asian appearance. I had to bite my tongue. I wanted to ask "what nationality is that?" But she didn't mean to be antagonistic so I just left it. Got a good chuckle about it though.

I've got enough asian in me to look it, and when I'm on campus, people assume I must therefore be adept with mathematics. Sometimes, they ask me dreadful questions, so I sneer at them and in a gruff voice, I say

"Sumimasen! Toiret wa doko desuka!"

I'm not sure, I think it means "excuse me, where's the bathroom".

I'd really rather not speculate as to what motivates MJ to do the things he does. I'm pretty sure racism doesn't make people almost drop their babies from the 2nd story balcony while trying to wave to fans, or wear face masks for half their adult lives. Frankly I don't want to know what does. I'd rather it remain some dark and twisted force beyond our comprehension.

ahm....right...these specifies the rascist already as being nazis...you don't have to be a nazi to be rascist. This only works the other way around.

It's not that i hate people like you, but being as i was born jewish, i fear for the safety of my loved ones simply due to the existence of people like you. I bet you read the word jewish and already have a picture in your head, but ive broken people like you before. For your own health you want to keep oppinions like that to yourself in the future, because if you make a person like me afraid, chances are you will die.

I don't know what your specific situation is, so its hard to make any kind of useful observation. If your in school or some other environment where your social habits will be scrutinized by presumptive folks, you might be a bit hosed, but I guess you could try to associate with "your own", but not exclusively.

Oh, and evidently, that "Future Relics" guy says he was being sarcastic, so I don't know if he really is any kind of threat. Maybe he was just lampooning hostile people. Problem is, without the vocal inflections and social context that usually identify sarcasm, its very hard to tell. The fact is, there are people out there that really do feel that way (i.e. "If your not so and so, then eff you, etc") and their rantings can take exactly that same form and not be sarcasm. Either way, the death threat might have been over the top, IMHO.

I usually find racist jokes funny, BUT I try to avoid racism as much as possible. (See my lower argument)

On topic anyone who treats a person differently because of race is a racist.
So, there is two kinds.
"Positive" where a person is treated better because of race
"Negative" where a person is treated worse because of race

A lot of americans have the problem of what I call "Reverse Racism", where a person is discriminated against due to anti-discrimination policies. This is due the increased focus on race in america compared to other countries

Eg Bob and Joe go for a job with a white employer. Both are equally qualified but Bob is white and Joe is black. If Bob gets the job it's "Negative Racism" to Joe , but "Positive Racism" to Bob.
Also if the employer is forced to give Joe the job because he has a legislated race quota then it's "Reverse Racism", as the government is forcing an racist policy in order to try and reduce racism.

Sorry, guess i got a little wriled up for no reason. :D I go through phases when im very calm but i can also get very scrappy. I hate it when people loop me in with every other jew from long island and assume they are all the same, because i feel like its an attempt by others to take away my identity as an individual. I dont like it when people assume things like that even if most of the time it is true. Its taking away someones individuality for purposes of saving yourself time and energy, and not only do i think its rude but think you miss meeting some very interesting people when you make judgements about them before you really get to know them, and i know everyone knows that and its obvious and i sound like a kids cartoon, but despite that not too many people tend to live that way. My policies in this game and in real life are geared towards healthier, stronger individuals, i think its the most important thing in the world.

But are they really? Of course they were mass murderers, killers and what ever you can think of. But this raises once more teh question if you can call the jews really a race. No doubt they are a world religion. Since the founding of Israel it's also a nationality you could say. And although my biology can best be described as nonexsitent, I believe to remember that the jews are not really a reace in the normal meaning. Could of course be wrong though. What do you guys think?

You are racist/sexist if you categorize people because you can match a physical attribute to a mental attribute or an generic action, even if the assignment has a positive attitude.

Categorization examples: White, Black, American, English, Black haired, bearded, male, female etc..

Racist sentence examples:
Blondes are stupid.
English people drink tea.
Etc...

And yes, with almost everyone else, you are racist.

Edit: I fotgot to mention Religions, Religions are another way of categorization even though it's not a physical attribute.

Jews consider themselves a race.

Prior to World War II, most books written by jews clearly stated jews constituted a racial group. Now, some jews will try to argue "that this is the opinion of one rabbi" as we have heard on several posts before. The fact that remains is most books written by jews prior to WWII stated that the jews were indeed a race. Also, note what rabbi Joachim Prinz reveals concerning the jewish nature to use subterfuge in disguising who they really are. Hence, the common practice of jews adopting the ethnic names of host nations is substantiated here.

After WWII the jews changed their strategy to: "We are a people" - or - "We are a nation!" This is a more disguised appeal of hiding the truth under the words "people" and "nation."

The talk of racial groups today is politically incorrect. The jews want us to believe that all races are equal and therefore interracial marriages should be accepted. An extraterrestrial from another star system observing the Negroes of this planet would easily draw the same conclusions that they are incapable of innovation and civilization. The report back to the home planet would state a dark race of people are multiplying to a point where they are threatening the highly developed civilizations. Soon all innovation and civilization may collapse.

The jewish race is a race, which tries to impersonate the host race it is living with. Subterfuge of any degree is used to hide the fact that they are indeed a different race. If you drive a taxi in London.

(By law, all taxi drivers in London must complain about 'the blacks' at least twice per journey. Any problems brought up in conversation must be blamed on 'the blacks'. If questioned, the taxi driver must come up with a ludicrous statement to back up their claims.

I've had some good conversations with taxi drivers, especially with Somali ones, once I've told them I'm from South Africa. And they're always very concerned for my safety- walking from the taxi to my security door. :p They usually wait until I'm safely inside before driving off. (I usually only get cabs late at night (like... 4am etc), after clubbing or some such thing)
