Where did they go?
There has been a disturbing lack of the random, pointless threads. As well as those that exist simply to ammuse. Where did they all go? Why must my life be like this? Why does your face look like that? Why did all you other randomites stop making the clever threads?
So that said, let's be random, but stay at least mildly on topic so as not to become (too) spammy.....

i had an idea... we could start a pretty decent game we used to play on the Iron Maiden forum. we write a story, each posting a line at a time. ok, it doesn't sound that great till you see that nobody can be bothered to read all the backstory through & it soon turns into complete (hilarious) random nonsense ;)
probably been done here before, too (yeah its not an original idea) but it could provide some entertainment. good idea?

There is one in the process, (Let's write a story!) started by Silence and Nothing. But it is pretty stale now. You can only resurrect the main characters and godmode so many times before the contributors get tired of it.

i wondered if that was the same thing, but i've never looked at it. i thought it was a proper story - as in a coherent plot, characters and lengthy posts; not random, mindless (entertaining) spam ;)
and i couldn't find it just now to check :confused:

Perhaps if we write the threads all backwards, we can classify them as 'maps' instead. I don't think there are any rules against maps.
