i'll start at the begining. you see, this planet is governed by 4 basic elements; earth, fire, water, and thunder. each one of the elements is controled by a titan. long ago, near the begining of time, these titans where at war with one another and it nearly tore the planet apart. a race of higher beings used their magics to imprison the titans by creating a sort of token for each. the tokens acted as locks to keep the titans a bay. now, these tokens have been moved, thusly unleashing the titans to wreak havok again. the person responsible for that is a shape-shifting demon named Azael. he seeks to destroy the world by controlling all of the itans. to do that, he has to have all 4 of the tokens and he has to know the ritual to transfer their control to himself. he has already done this with the titans of earth, water, and thunder. now Vaga has the fourth token and is safegaurding it against azael and against another force trying to find the tokens; The order of Tresi Caisi. it is lead by an ex-demon death angel known as Atreyu. the order itself prides itself on purifying the human race by making those within its order "perfect"; they modify themselves with machine and such. atreyu believes that by destroying the tokens, it will destroy the titan it is meant to gaurd. so he is coming after the fire token as well. the order is vast and has many followers, enough to make quite a substantial army, each member with more abilities than the last.
