The DfB Pokal Cup...

...is obviously one of the most entertaining soccer tournaments in Europe. I mean, where else do you find 14-0 scorelines?

Anyway, this week is the semi-finals, with Werder Bremen and Schalke 04 playing tonight, and Arminia Bielefeld and Bayern Munich playing tomorrow. This is Arminia Bielefeld's first ever Pokal Cup semi, and a win against Bayern Munich (again) could see them into the UEFA Cup next season. Can you guess who I'm supporting? Let's add a poll (not on that particular question).

EDIT: Hmmm, I seem to have missed a rather crucial word out of the poll question. That word is 'win'. It goes between 'will' and 'the'.

EDIT #2: Then again, in German, I suppose 'win' would go at the end of the question...

I don't know...he does tend to have off-days quite a lot. Methinks Delron Buckley will score tomorrow.

I only choose him because he's Dutch (like me), Schalke 04 would be nice winner too. I'm watching the Dutch 'Pokal Cup' tomorrow :D

Well, Schalke are through to the final. Just as well really, seeing as their no way Werder Bremen are going to finish in the top three in the Bundesliga, and we all know what them doing so would mean...

Arminia Bielefeld wouldn't get into the UEFA Cup!

And that can't happen.

14-0? The real life version of the NS U21 championship?

Granted, they're a rarity, but it does seem to happen every year. Usually they involve a team from the ninth division or so...on the losing side, of course.

Most teams aren't that bad, except maybe QPR when they lost 9-1 or 8-1 to Man United in one game.

In Germany, when they're good, they're good, but when they're bad, th're REALLY bad.

No offence, TSV Gerbrunn supporters. :)
