Envision this: One of the NationStates Administrators retired and named you as his/her successor. You are all-powerful!! What would you do? Which nations would you ban? How would you improve the game? What rules would you add?

I'd add coding that allows people to create history and description pages on the "Create a Nation" page, and generally be a benevolent ruler of the biggest thing on Jolt (3 million posts!!!), allowing a good deal of freedom of speech except slander, threats, or obscenities.

I recently discovered that I make a weak and pathetic admin, I made my first deat and ended up letting the person back on and restoring their post count cause they apologised

I would put in a program that allows Nations to play war with one another. Kind of like a game of "Risk" or "Axes and Allies". Stuff like that.

Uhhh.... You can already do that. Just have two friends look over your shoulder while you play NationStates and make suggestions to you.

Oh, and to actually answer the thread, I would add a hippie smilie. And a headbanger smilie. And a shrug smilie. WE NEED MORE SMILIES!

I would allow war to be declared on other countries. YOu would be able to see which countries are on and invade them. Using virtual dice on the site you could defend or attack the other country. Armed republics would have a higher chance of winning their battles.
