The parties I'm used to is in a dark house, alcohol and lots of grinding to music.

All else was irrelevant. I'm one of those boring teetotalers who also happens to be terrified of socialising unless there's a pc and some shooters and strategy games. But the bourbon biscuits would get me ANYWHERE.

Crap on a cracker, I need to go to more parties. The ones I was never invited to were nothing like the soirees I've just read about here. Then again, the typical US party involves a lot of loud belligerent music and women I wouldn't shag with a stolen dick. Not because they're ugly or unsightly, but because they're cloying, stupid and obnoxious. Who wants to wake up next to that? Then again, I don't attract 'em anyway, so it's a profoundly moot point.

Something of bitterness here, but while I'm far from ugly, I am not of that "universally attractive" type that seems to hang out at the few parties I convinced myself to attend. You know, ridiculous amounts of offensive cologne, ridiculously ornamented car, baseball cap, lots of hair product, IQ of a Stilson wrench. I guess I'm just not a party person.

I have always liked dancing, so I'll always be shaking my stuff until I'm an old man. I like the relaxed atmosphere now also, but dancing is the best way to have fun.
