Mega Man Music!
Okay, okay, dorky thread, but bear with me. Developers don't make game music like this any more. It's a damn shame, too, because the early Mega Man games had some of the best music ever. I'm talking Mega Man 2, for example.
Pretty much every song was gold. From Air Man to the perfect Wily Stage 1, it's outstanding. If developers actually took the time to make fun, catchy music like this, games would be a lot better (though not every game should have music like this).
Any thoughts?

Yeah i agree that music can make a game really good. I myself enjoy the works of Nobou Utmatsu; he did much of the Final Fantasy stuff.
It's too bad that there isn't as much emphasis on music in video game these days. It's now a matter of just taking tracks from artists and putting them into the video game. But i have to admit, the graphics have improved! :D

Gotta love Nobuo Uematsu's stuff. My favorites were from Final Fantasy 6.

The ff6 music was great.
I really enjoyed the Piano Collection that they made a while back. Some of the tracks actually sound better in piano hehe.

I kind of liked the Home World 1 tracks ... Agnus Dei was very good for when you far-jump back to Karaak to see it Burn ...
