Well, I'm one of the few, the proud, the insane -- one of your forum moderators. Ask me your questions -- I may or may not have answers! ;)

How do you kick so much ass all at once like that? Doesn't that get tiring? I imagine it must be an incredible cardio workout.

I had some questions for you in the Ask a NSer thread but I dunno if that counts here. Is this for adivice or just any question at all?

Their names even both start with the same letter!

Of course, this is all assuming that Max isn't also Tsaraine, in which case there's another Max copy roaming about the countryside wreaking havoc or somesuch.

I'm assuming by "kick so much ass" you mean how am I so wonderful ;); answer is good genes and clean living.

Or if it's traditional ass-kicking, well, I don't like to do it, but I'm good at it, having been teaching in public high school for nearly a decade.

Must be a cardio workout -- this sometimes makes my heart go pitty-pat. :)

The short answer is -- it's Jolt's server and we're using their set-up.
Jolt hosting is still better than when we had our own, although I too am often frustrated when there is down time like our recent four hour fiasco.

What I knew, I'm not quite sure of yet, but I knew it!

Kat- what is your favorite book and what is your favorite theatrical performance? I like going to see plays and I wondered what sort of performances you may have enjoyed?

Currently, my favorite book(s) are: The Stand by Stephen King, The Lord of the Rings, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll, and Lightning by Dean Koontz.

I've seen Les Miserables three times anmd loved it; the last play I saw was Thoroughly Modern Millie (very funny!) and I hope to catch Wicked soon.

Well, in my family, we have had children in the so-called traditional way, children through fertility treatments and adoption.

I think any way is suitable for people who are loving and responsible and want children -- and I think adopting an older child is a wonderful idea more people ought to consider. If a child does not carry your genetic code, it doesn't make them any less your child in any meaningful way.

I also personally don't have a problem with adopting a child who is of a different ethnicity from the parents, although some folks would be horrified at the thought.

The only thing I will say is you'd better be darned sure you can, and are willing to do it -- taking the good with the bad. I feel it would be horribly damaging not to eventually adopt a child you've taken care of because it's not what you expected.

When I was first owned by my furry feline friend some seven years ago, there was kwite the kontroversy over what she should be kalled. After a kouple of days of yelling, "Hey cat!" when I wished to feed, pet, or otherwise pay homage to her, the name kind of stuck.

Of kourse, it's rather silly kalling a cat "Cat;" people assume that no thought whatsoever has gone into selection of this moniker. Changing the 'c' to a 'k' shows you have spent at LEAST ten seconds on this krucial decision.

I therefore sometimes post 'k' instead of other "hard c sounding" letters as a Kwirk.

1) I will have to give that some thought.
2) I don't have a favorite troll, nor do I wish any of them to come back. Contrary to popular belief, I don't like banning, and neither do the other mods. It's what we do when someone has behaved egregiously -- either for repeatedly doing something they've been told to stop, or for one big whopper of an incident.

Oh yeah...and is there an archive where we can read the reasons and notifications of DEATs (whatever the hell DEATs are?). Since I'm dumb, and I miss things, I never know until weeks later that someone has been DEATed (see how I use a term I don't understand as though I understand it? See that? Huh? Huh?).
