So the next flood of new consoles has kind of begun with the NintendoDS and the PSP. Furthermore, even total non-gamers like myself are getting excited about the expected releases from Sony (http://generation_next.1up.com/do/feature?cId=3139705), Microsoft (http://generation_next.1up.com/do/feature?pager.offset=1&cId=3139705) and Nintendo (http://generation_next.1up.com/do/feature?pager.offset=2&cId=3139705).

So the question is: What are you going to spend your money on?

A new motherboard and memory for my computer.

Consoles blow - they cost the earth and you have to pay the earth every two years in order to get decent new games, which, you guessed it, also cost the world ;)

I agree with Kusarii, although I did want to try Jade Empire...

But really, with all the time I spend on here, when would I ever truly play? lol

I've always thought that way too...
In fact, I hate games. But the gadget addict inside cannot go past these new consoles. I wont buy a single game for them, instead they'll become a part of my growing, living and breathing AV corner of the room.

Personally, I'm going for the PSP and Playstation 3. I love Sony, you can't go wrong with them. Except Sony Music, but that's another story.
The PSP hasn't been released in Australia yet, hence the future tense. Plus, I'm a big backer of Blu-ray, and the Playstation 3 will have it.

well i won't be able to afford any of them, but if i could i'd get the Xenon first, and then the PS3 sometime later when its cheaper ;)

I heard Revolution's controller will be a giant tough screen, that can have different buttons on it, and even change during gameplay. I hope to God it's not true, because it would be the most massive mistake ever made by humans ever.

Apparently they're going for some whole new user interface... the touch screen controller has been spouted by some groups, but yeah, that would be a big mistake.

i have the psp and ds and am planing on buying evry thing else
