So what are your favorite threads off all time?

I can't quite put my finger on a single one, but I'll say my thread about Vinyl Records.

"Ask the Squatch" in many of its former incarnations.

I liked the artPad thread, it was fun, funny, and nobody got hurt (well no badly anyway)

they deleted them all along with forum 7 :(

so i have to say the temple topics leading up to the forum 7

and of course, teh topic that started everything!

(the thread that we first devised the temple to the mods)

i remember the nu-hippie thread being funny :)

I did a "pirates vs ninja" thread waaaaay back when on the old server. It was one of my first threads. The responses in it where genius, f'n hillarious.

And it spawned a rash of vs. threads that day, all of which I missed because I posted the poll and then had to leave. That has always had a warm spot in my heart. It's either that or cholesteral build up. One or the other...

My personal favorite of all time-
A thread reporting a UN multi. The guy had about 80 UN nations, with such hilarious, ill-fitting, and borderline offensive names as "Polish Untermensch", "Muslim Trip-hop", and "Texan Astrophysicists."

I think it's lost to the mists of time, but I do go searching for it every now and then.

For my favorite threads Id have to say the TAR vs. Valia threads and all the sequels... anything in forum 7, and the thread where Stephistan announced she deleted the Red Arrow. Good times, good times...

I loved the "Holy <insert catchphrase> Batman!"-thread. There were so many hilarious responses.

yeah, they would have being great if we had a better server back then, I think the largest we ever got was around 30 before the mods deated the thread...

You can still do them, but you have to manually insert the other quotes...:D

the mods don't know the meaning of having fun, getting drunk and trashing the server anymore

back in olden times, they had fun along side us getting drunk and trashing the server... Now, they deat, ban, IP block, and report you to the FBI for accidentally double posting :mad:

I know. It's gone from a Father Knows Best State to a Psychotic Dictatorship. :p

(Seriously, I hadn't got a warning until a month or two ago. And i've always behaved the same.)

Uh huh. I left for a couple months came back and now everythings changed/gone straight to hell in a flaming wheelchair! Theres mods I havent even heard of, some of the old ones have retired (Steph)... And to top all of it off we have the worst hosting I could imagine us getting.

Any thread in an assortment of fruit flavours gets my vote.

I think the only reason i havent gone off on a tyranny induced spamfest suicide is cause it now takes 30 seconds between posts and I try to limit the time I spend on this each day...

and 20 posts could hardly be enough to get you deated...

and i am too lazy...
