Hello. I'm sorry if this is taboo, but I'm new here and this seems like the only area this thread would go in. I met a kid over spring break and he told me about this site and none of my emails to him will go through, and I don't know the names of his countries. So, if you are Michael and you went to the French Broad River Dude Ranch over spring break, I am not ignoring your emails, mine just won't go through. Send me a telegram.
If you are not Michael, please ignore this thread.

Your emails could be bouncing because his ISP is treating them like spam as well. Tried a different email account yet?

Wow, people here are so friendly!
Thanks for the idea Allies, I'll try that.
Jerusalem, I'll try that as well.
Will, how do I do that?

You just done what Willamena advised. it's just making a post whenever the topic goes off the first page. it's not looked upon entirely kindly if you bump it all the time, however, just to warn you. Every once in a while is cool though, methinks.

He may well not use the forums. After all, there are over 1 million nations on NationStates, and only a few hundred-a few thousand use them. Good luck finding him, though.
Jordaxia
16-04-2005, 21:34
eh, just a suggestion, and I have no idea if the mods would do it or not, but perhaps there is some way to compare the email address that you have to an individual nations ones? If there was a match, then you could telegram that player directly.

of course, if there is no search function then there's no way mods are going to check through 120,000 odd nations (those that are actually active...) looking for an individual email account, and they might not be allowed to do that in the first place. But like I said, just a suggestion.

Good luck finding him, anyways.

Strange slave name, considering it means Godlike and all. Kichwatempo is cool too though. What does it mean?

If anyone can guess what my name is, I'll give them a cookie. (begins with an S, is used in common western naming conventions....)

QUIET!

smith & wesson?

QUIET!

No, what I meant was it's a standard western name that isn't stupidly rare nor from an entirely different cultural set, curse you all.

I take it nobody wants a cookie. :D

I take it nobody wants a cookie. :D I do. Are they chocolate chip? I love chocolate chip cookies.

Unfortunately I can't think of any names that begin with an S. Are they any of these:

Sam (male/female)
Sandy (ditto)
Sal (ditto)
Seth
Severus
Sol
Stan thanks Kevady
Seldon
Skyler (and any variant spellings, i.e. Schuyler, Skyelar, etc.)
Sherman
Sarivad the Swordmaster (just kidding)

(if I think of any more I'll post them in)

Also, I think Jordaxia is talking about the American west, or midwest. I've been to both coasts, but never the center. (Ironically, my politics are rather centrist…although I prefer to think of them as Libertarian Expansionist.)

I don't know how far west you mean, I'm sort of in the middle. I haven't met many men or boys by the name Syrus, but I wouldn't be surprised if a few kids soon get named Sirius.

Texas is the first state that comes to mind when we think of The West—cowboys, indians, rangers, and so on and so forth. (And George W. Bush, too, but that's beside the point.)

Ok, Jordaxia, I've done some thinking, and here are more guesses. Would your name be any of these?

Shane, Sebastian, Shawn (Shaun, Sean, . . . ), Sawyer, Shannon (I've known both guys and girls by that name), Stewart/Stuart, Sidney/Sydney, Samuel, Salvador, or Sylvester.

EDIT: I forgot these . . .

Saul, Synclair/Sinclair, Scott, Spencer, Shea, and Slater.

No, it does. I just thought that Nadkor would reveal it. It begins with an S, is not a completely unusual name (I ain't called something like solstice or soliloquay (or however it's actually spelt).... people have just been guessing in the wrong vein......

....I'm surprised people haven't done the REALLY obvious thing and went and checked the.... ns player profile thread? of course, that's assuming people even care enough, and I can't imagine a fictitious cookie is quite sweetening the deal enough.
