I find that onion rings are much more delicious than french fries. What about everybody else?

onion rings from BK are better than fries. rings from McD's suck so even their shitty chips are better

Plain french fries vs. onion rings, onion rings win every time.

Cheese fries, or fries with gravy beat onion rings though.

It would depend on who makes the french fries and onion rings. Generally though fries are better.

Plain, onion rings. With extra stuff, nothing beats chili cheese fries, esp. from Gold Star with tabasco sauce....

French fries. Onion rings are impossible to bite through.
Try ordering them from a different restaurant. Good onion rings aren't difficult to bite through at all.

Home fries, Belgium fries, or if you're in Quebec, the infamous poutine (sauce, cheese curds and chuckwagon fries)... not for the faint of heart.

If I'm feeling naughty, I order onion rings. Thats prime info for a date with me. I dont give out many tid-bits like that so write it down.

French fries can be made differently so would you prefer them soft like at Wendy's or more crispy like at McD's?

BK's fries are the best to me. The best burgers are from Wendy's though. Mc D's burgers are like refried plastic that makes your stomach go into a nuclear meltdown.

And what is up with their same old tired menu? They had a chicken flatbread sandwich that was sooo good. The one decent item and they 86'd it

I like onion rings, but only if they're the kind that are easily bitten through or consumed whole. I hate biting into it and having the entire onion coming looping out of the fried breading-stuff!

Ordinarily fries will do fine though. A good standard. Good old freedom fries!

OMFG! I don't even know how to compare onion rings and french fries! They're both good in their own ways! I think onion rings have the slight edge, except for over french fries cooked special ways, like Chik-Fil-A style.

I prefer Onion Rings. If both are made to equal standards, the rings are gonna come out on top.

mmm..(drools). Ontario poutine, while good simply cannot compare to the stuff in Quebec. For this reason, I'm casting my vote for fries. They're much more versatile, too. Clubhouse & onion rings? No way, Jose!

It depends on the rings or the fries. Fried zuchinni (Like Karls Jr.) and Cheese curds (A&W) are also really good.

I like grease.

Similar. Chips are usually chunkier and so (should) have slightly more texture.

Fries all the way, my new favourite is sweet potato fries, yum! (they're orange)

Right now the only way I eat an onion is raw!

Edit: Its not a habit of mine ;) !

Oh please, come on! Why are most of these polls either or?!?

If I'm going for taste, it's definitely onion rings.
If it's more like a meal, it's gonna be fries.

I'd rather have fries & onion rings :)

No contest! Those big, plump, long fries *drool* are way better than onion rings.
