Does anyone here have Firefox? Isn't it great? I love the useful extensions, the Download Manager, the find-as-you type, and the fact that it gets less pop-ups than Internet Explorer.

And the fact that it isn't completely riddled with spyware is a plus. :D

HELL YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Firefox is awesome. Functionality? It can do everything IE can, plus, and without the major drawbacks, and in a smaller package. And if you want even MORE functionality? Extentions galore! I overdose on them myself. SKins are made by the dozen by a supportive community, so you can customize the browser however you want, and it is open source, so improvements are constatly being made!

...and it's free.

Well, so is IE. That does give it a leg-up on Opera, though.

Anyone here with a Mac? I think Safari is nearly as good as Firefox, in terms of the core stuff, although the extentions and open-sourceness for increased amount of people working on improvements gives it a bit of an advantage.

Firefox is great! Between that and Stopzilla I can surf with little or no annoying surprises.

Best thing about it. I've had it for roughly 4 months now... and haven't yet managed to kill it... quite an achievement for me...

I liked safari a lot and resisted getting firefox, but one of these threads started one night and I broke down and tried it. I went nuts with the tabs a bit...I've never even looked into the extensions or skins...no idea what they do (well, I can figure out what skins do...)

huh? I've used free Opera for ages. Now browsing with Firefox but haven't got rid of the Opera either. Use it daily too.

I've tried Firefox and rather enjoyed it, but I like Opera a lot better in almost every aspect. That's just my personal opinion, however.
