I usually don't like them, but I've found one that's pretty cool. It's called "The Ultimate Fighter". A bunch of guys trained by Randy Couture and Chuck Lidell live in the same house, train together, and fight for a contract to be one of UFC's professional fighters.

Reality shows are out of control. I'm thinking about making one myself. I mean, everyone and anyone can have one about anything. Its retarded.

What would your one be about, though? It might be retarded, but could be another, more marketing friendly phrase: cash cow.

I would take a camera around and a big bus and just stop at random towns and punch someone in the face....and film their reaction. Thus comparing the levels of anger in various geographical locations. Thats reality TV.....

I watch the Apprentice I like it but I do not belive it is real. I have seen many of the others a few times and did not like them.
Next time you watch one look at the credits after the show and see how many writers are on staff. And ask yourself, why do they need writers if it is completly unsripted?
I can see needing editors to cut the show down to one hour. But why so many writers?

That's not a very nice thing to do at all.
I'd approve if you stopped at random towns and punched a reality TV show producer and then filmed their reaction... they're dead inside anyway, so they don't count. THAT'S win/win.

I don't watch too many of them, I hated Big Brother and all that. But Make me a supermodel was good! (yaay Alice)

When you get down to it, at least the reality shows killed most of the sit coms. Though I'm sure some of them still lurk in the darkness ready to pop up without warning. And talk shows... And soap operas... And "dramas"...
All I watch is violent cartoons, so basically anime that doesn't have collectible cards, tops, monsters or robots. So basically at the moment I have nothing to watch. And this has gone way off topic...

Sometimes I watch survivor because I make bets on who is gonna win. Most of the time my guy gets to final two and then stupidly looses.

They're crap, all of them, with no exceptions. (unless Fight School counted as a reality show, in which case with one exception, as I quite liked that.)

Generally, I utterly abhor them. I've got to admit I like The Apprentice on BBC2, though, and I suppose it could be classed as 'reality TV'. But I completely detest Big Brother (poor Orwell would be turning in his grave), Survivor, I'm a Celebrity... and all that other crap. Total SHITE! :headbang:
