I'm already on the grid assuming you're talking about the United Devices grid computing project. My laptop is at home crunching away at an especially huge proteome folding calculation as I type...

If that's not what you're talking about... well, sorry, my spare CPU cycles are already spoken for.

Nope not talking about UD-Grid... talking about Find-A-Drug i used to run UD-Grid until Ars Technica Team Crab Cake died off... and now i run Find-A-Drug for Ars Technica Team Hard Cider... the only reason i run FAD as apposed to UD-Grid is because the FAD software is able to search for twice as many disease queries and it runs Jobs ALOT faster as well... not to mention it runs alot better on the older hardware that i have laying around

hmmm if i am reading their faq correcly then all their results are considered property of find a drug instead of being public property. I think i'll pass. Besides spent to long with folding at home to switch now.

no the results are given to major pharmesutical corporations and various Harvard and Stanford university science departments to study for possible cures and standard drug analysis and if they pass are then sent to the pharmecy's to be developed as a normal prescription and a generic prescription and they will be released to the general public... the project itself is still seeking Charitable Status so any finances you put out like power usage and stuff can be considered a donation to a charity and its tax deductable therefor increasing your Tax Refund at the end of the year because it can either be clamed as a percentage off your taxes or it can be calculated as EIC...
