Tonight, at 7 PM, I will be at the Royal, a local movie theatre in Toronto, greeting the audience as they enter to see a film in which I have a supporting role.

"Auto-Destruct: One Man's Obsession With William Shatner" is the name of the film, and I play the role of Janine, the transsexual interpretive dance facilitator, who is also the one-time love interest of the film's central character, Bob Radjic - the one obesessed with Bill Shatner.

The movie got the nod from the Toronto entertainment rag 'EYE' as this week's 'Best Bet' in film - even though there's an indie film fest happening at the same time. It also got 3 out of 4 stars, and it's funny to boot.

and if your browser is up to it, here's the crappy music video that Bob's band, "USS Rock N Roll" makes in the movie - "Warp Factor Love". That's Bob singing, btw. Although I was the one who made the even crappier animated sequences.

And now I must bathe. My public awaits - !

Just thought I'd let you know it went great. It looks like I'll be getting more work doing the acting thing this year! I'm kinda surprised, especially after the pick-up shots they did at my character's 'interpretive dance school' two weeks ago.

I hated wearing the hot pink and black leotard. Made my ass look collosal. But it was a bit of a rush when all the people in the audience realized who I was, and congratulated me on my performance.

I'm definitely not Hollywood material, that much I know. But hey, you gotta give these things a try. Who knows?
Cannot think of a name

Um... what does a "dance facilitator" do?

By the way, good luck with the film!
