I personally feel that if you need to pray for forgiveness, then you should pray to whomever you feel most comfortable praying to, and there is absolutely no need to defend your choice. If you think Ian McKellen is a supreme being and you hope to be in his good graces, so be it, and there is no reason you should have to defend yourself.

I think the troll's accomplished what he wanted. He's got a 9 page thread, the attention of mods and other posters, incessant and obnoxious posts from well known posters that he can use for ammunition, and has people bickering with each other over inane things like Gandolf vs. God.

I think it's time someone locked the topic; if the guy had any legitimate complaint it would be made in intelligable English, and it would have been placed in the mod thread or given a better heading in the General section.

That would mean that the hierarchy ended with Ffc2 at the top. No offense to him, but I'd rather not be compelled, for any reason, to worship him.

Actually I do not know you, but this seems like the sort of thing I would do to get some attention that backfires when it turns everybody against you instead, and you end up with more people disliking you than you did before.
