Ok, just gotta ask with the movie just a few weeks away.
Who thinks the HHGTTG movie will be good and who thinks it will bomb in the usual hollywood style?
As for me, I see signs of bombing just because of the Magrathea scene with the rake like things smaking them in the face. Oh yea, and the rather stupid placement of Zaphod's, urm, "second?" head.

I would make a prediction but lately I have been wrong on most of the movies that I thought would be good or bomb.
So I guess in that light I will make the opposite prediction of what I want it to be: This movie will blow chuncks and then some!

Style looks appropriate, Mos Def is funny, dude from the office is funny. I'm gonna do that crazy thing and actually judge the movie after I watch it. But I'm nutty that way.

It's gonna suck if you're looking for any real similarity to the book. The best humor has been taken out and they completely missed the point concerning the IID.

the script got to about halfway between rough draft and final before he died.
the man who finished it also wrote the script for chicken run.
the man who finished it went back through all of Adams's original notes as he worked.
