Muslim Fundamentalists get the brunt of criticism in the world today, but (and ill say it) if the ultimate goal of this supposed war on terror is to root out Fundamentalist Islam, then we must also go after Fundamentalist christianity and Fundamentalist Judaism. Am I right or what?
We just cant go and destroy the Bin Ladens and Ayatollahs, we have to obliterate the Pat Robertsons and the Jerry Falwells with equal vigor (id say something about icons of fundamentalist judaism, but i know of none, my knowledge of the subject constitutes me asking a jewish friend and he saying that yes, there are Jewish supremacist and fundamentalist orgs. out there...)
All of these movements are detrimental to society as a whole.
Another point, while im on the subject, Bush says that the purpose of the war was to bring out the fascists and ring in democracy, like we did with germany after WWII...but this comparison is simply not valid in any way at all because Germany had already gone through the enlightenment, they had essentially killed god (hey, Nietszche anyone??) so they were ripe to rule themselves, but the middle east is a f****ng theocracy still, they still have a lively and present religious govnt. As long as a nation has strong religious convictions it cannot be democratized...so, there is that.
