Name one politician, whom you oppose, but you also respect.

Mine is Congressman Jim McDermott-yes, 'Baghdad Jim'... why? because he genuinely represents the views of the people in his district, and he's got enough class to treat his opponents with respect-he's even appeared on some of our more right-wing right wing talk-radio, and handled both host and callers with clarity, calm, humour, and class.

The guy may be at the left-side of Liberal, but he's a class act.

McCain. I don't like the things he does, but I respect the manner in which he does them.

I have utter contempt for his abuse of the judicial system to shut up the press and his People's Action Party's government's "iron fist in a velvet glove" rule over the island. The economic achievements the island experienced under the PAP government are admirable, but I cannot abide by the limits he's placed on his people.
