*ahem*

I don't get the ending. Does this mean no more possible future adventures for Arthur?

Where the eff did Trillian come from?

Did the Guide's mission was to help the Vogon destroy planet Earth?

Who the eff were those aliens from the planet Rupert?

Was Random hot? How old was she?

Now, if there's a 6th book, dont tell me the answers. Unless they're not answered in said book, or if there isn't one at all.

Originally it was only supposed to be a trilogy. But everybody who read the books kept bugging him for another one. So he wrote that, albeit reluctantly. They kept bugging him causing him to write a fifth, but in order to make sure he couldn't write another hitchhiker's book, he killed off the main characters for good. At least, that's the rationale I've always heard of for the ending.

Oh, and DA won't be writing a 6th book anyway since he's dead.

Well that makes sense. I'm not happy about it, but I perfectly understand laziness.

I think the fifth book reflected his annoyance a little too much. It seemed to have an undertone of trying to piss off the reader to it.
