A Question to Amerikans

European Communism

Why is it that Amerikkkans always trot out their Constitution as the holiest of holies and something that dare not be altered? It's pretty dated and the seperation of powers thing just doesn't work, it leads to more corruption, i mean, how many times have there been things that the executive have embarked upon without the legislative knowing, the genocidal massacre in Nicaragua against the Nicaraguan people or the US murdering hundreds of thousands in El Salvador are two prime examples.

You haven't answered the question, the Constitution of the US is not infallable by any means and causes more confusion than it guarantees rights.

That's why we have a seperate document called the "Bill of Rights", if you've heard of it.

The constitution is not the holiest of holies, as we have changed it almost thirty times. If that doesn't answer your question, a document cannot produce nor take the guilt for this genocide you mention...corruption will usually occur no matter what your governments rulebook is.

By seperation of powers..do you mean checks and balances?

(It's obviously not the most important thing to us if I haven't memorized it)

If so, it does work (if maybe empower judicial a tad over the rest). That's the only way we're holding off this social security plan by the genius el Bush, and the way that a democracy takes hold of issues with abortion, gay marriage, etc.

Just a question, what is your nationality?

Since you've rephrased your post with less intentionally insulting material I'll answer.

1 Nobody thinks the constitution is infallible. That's why there are judges to interpret it and a mechanism by which it can be ammended.

2 All legislation causes some confusion. Everyone interprets a law slightly differently. Since the constitution contains a large number of laws and rules pertaining to complex issues it's bound to cause some confusion. Once again, that's why we have judges to interpret it.

3 It most certainly does guarantee our rights. Because of the constitution laws that are passed are limited in what restrictions they can place on our speech, property, and lifestyles.

Why is it that you expect to get any kind of serious, civil answer when your post is riddled with hateful bullshit and stupid spelling? I'm not American, so I don't really care, but as soon as the yanks do hit this post, there's going to be flaming aplenty.

I carry a copy of the Constitution around with me at school so I can use it in arguements.
"SEE! See!? Right there, article one, section three, first paragraph! ITS RIGHT THERE JACKASS!"
I have no idea what section three of article one says, but that sounded good :P

We have all kinds of beans in the US,; Boston baked beans, refried beans, chili beans, ranch beans, black beans, pinto beans, and many many more. I've never heard of anyone eating them on toast though.

I haven't heard of canned dough. We do have biscuit dough that is sot of canned. It is in the refrigerator section of the store and must be kept refrigerated until used. Most people that I know bake it.

EC, do you have canned dough where you live? How do you cook it, fried or baked?
