I'm DEFINATELY going to have to go with Jason Bourne because Kali kicks THE ass.

James Bond, man. He's freaking Bond for crying out loud. He can't die.

I too shall vote for Bourne. Kali is one of the most agressive and realistic families of martial arts.

What the hell did Bond ever do except bang a bunch of women who worked for cartoonish supervillans. Bourne's a true killer. He was created to be an assasin.

You are most correct. I have been taking Sayoc Kali for about 11 years now and I must say that it's one of the most effective methods of combat.

Damn straight son. Bruce was an agent of extraordinary magnitude.

No, really.

I say J.C. Denton from Deus Ex, he's survived Government attacks, the Men in Black, aliens, top-secret mercinaries, a weird German robot-man, and he's from the future.

Sayoc guys prefer knives, right? I studied in a JKD school. We did the Inosanto blend.

Bah he wasn't a secret agent. He was Bruce Lee!

Everyone he met, they were all, "OMG it's Bruce Lee! I think I'll fight hopelessly for a second and get my ass kicked with superb style!" not much a secret there.

I voted Bond, because by now we're all aware that Bond will never die, but instead keep hopping bodies for all eternity. The others mentioned have skillz, but can they stand the test of time or match Bond's bodiless immortality? I think not.

Yes, sayoc is more knife based. Teaches both how to attack with a knife or defend against one. It also is very kenetic and vibrant. It's VERY close to the style that Bourne uses when unarmed.

We did sticks more than knives, but did spend a fair ammount of time on knives and empty hand.

I hear that Inosanto is a very good form of Kali. Would you recommend it for someone who is already familiar with Kali?

It was a tough choice between Bourne and Bond, but I'm going to have to go with Jimmy. He always gets at least two women on a mission AND gets it done to save the world in time for a martini.

I've never studied any other system of Kali, so I'm not sure if I'm totally qualified to answer this. My first impression would be yes because of the fact that it mixes aspects of other systems. You will find some things familiar, and some will seem a bit strange, but it will probably make you a bit more well rounded in your choice of weapons and empty hand tactics. Then again, it doesn't specialize like for example the Sayoc style, so you may take a bit longer to reach a similar level of proficiency with any one weapon.

I must vote for Bond. Even though some people say he's an unrealistic character, SO ARE ALL THE OTHERS. Real secret agents/assassins are nowhere near as cool or proliferate. So, I go with Bond here because he has the coolest, if fantastic, persona.

Oh, and on the issue of martial arts, I believe there is one that destroys all opponents: the sacred art of WHUPASS. It comes in cans, and can be laid down on anyonewith no bowing, Mandarin, or kung-fu cliches. It doesn't really matter how you win a fight, just that you WIN it. Like in License to Kill, Jimbo sticks Benecio del Toro into a meat grinder in a crack plant. How manly is that? That's how JB fights. He fights to win, and I'd like to see a master of Kali beat him. No one can. Jimmy has a uber-zillionth degree black belt in WHUPASS. I win.

Whupass is actually taught in Kali, Silat, and JKD classes. No bullshit, just do what it takes to make sure the other guy can't get back up.

Yeah Yeah.. Jason bourne maybe realistic.. but lets be logical here.. Bond has the resources of MI6 while bourne is a rouge agent.. Bond would kill Bourne with his cloaking car with missles out of the headlights before Bourne even ever got to see Bond

JCD would definately own anyone else, especially if he spends his entire inventory on two plasma guns and uses them both at the same time :D

I'm going with James Bond-the real James Bond Ian Flemming wrote about. He's a dark, hard drinking nicotene addict stone cold killer. Not as terribly romantic as in the movies. He has an understanding of many fighting techniques, clever weapons as well as weapons of opporotunity, plus-A LICENSE TO KILL. No self defence BS. He can kill when he feels necessary and has a whole government behind him.
