*SPOILERS FOR THE I LOVE BEES WEB-SITE*

Does Kamal marry Sophie? Do Durga and Jersey enjoy each others company until her time is up? Does Jan got with the other 1.1's into Covenant space? Does Rani like her new job? Who was speaking to Rani if Herzog really did die in the car crash? These are the things I need to know!

For those who don't know, www.ilovebees.com is a web-site that acts as a bee-focused web-site being controlled by a Halo type Artificial Intelligence. On it are sound bites, text files, etc. that reveal information about people before, during, and after the Halo: Combat Evolved video game. It ends when Halo2 begins and supposedly reveals how the Covenant find Earth in Halo2 (Although I think it contradicts some information in the Halo Novels). It was on-line before Halo2 came out and there were hidden links to it in the Halo2 trailers. It's really nifty, I listened to the entire sound section yesterday (took me quite a few hours) and loved every minute of it. But, it left me a little empty at the end. I want to know what happens to everybody!

Most of the story takes place in what is the U.S.A. in modern times and I'm pretty sure that the Covenant forces in Halo2 never assault that particular part of the planet before fleeing, so it's easy to assume that everybody did survive the attack (Well, except for Jan who's a bit psycho and Jersey who did enlist), but just the fact that they live isn't really enough for me. So much is left open, so much in question, and I need to find out the answers.

Does anybody know what happens after the events revealed on the ilovebees web-site? Anything at all?

...sorry, "To Have and Have Not", IMHO the best Bogart/Bacall movie ever, was on again last night. If you've never seen it, do.

(BTW: The movie is nothing like the book. It's one of the rare instances where the movie is BETTER.)

Actually, Halo was pretty good as a console FPS. Shitty by PC standards of course, but that's to be expected. However, all they did for H2 was update the scenery, toss a few new textures onto the models, and up the pixel count. Oh, and they added the ability to fire two guns at once. I'm sure that one took them a lot of time. It uses the exact same engine as the original Halo. They say they "updated" it but that could mean fuck all as to what they did.

So.....none of you has any idea what I'm talking about and are just chatting randomly? Dandy

If we were chatting randomly we wouldn't be disparaging Halo 2. I think they're making a Halo 3 so they'll probably continue the crap from the I love bees site.

They're definitely making a Halo3, but Halo isn't the point of this thread. Well....it kinda is. Not really. We're focusing on stuff taking place in the "Halo Universe", but not the Halo games themselves. Even if Halo2 is just Halo one re-done (And that's a big 'if', since they're both awesome in their own right) that wouldn't really effect this thread.

If they weren't making a Halo 3 the chance that they would continue the soundbites would be effectively nil. Therefore the fact that they are making Halo 3 gives much more credence to the idea that they might finish the I love Bees bit.

The ilovebees bit is finished, I doubt they'll continue it even when Halo3 is in production. That's why I'm making this thread, if I could just wait and then watch the actual video I wouldn't bother asking around.

I'm not asking if it will be continued in the future, I'm asking if people know what happened after the sound bites ended. An Easter Egg in Halo2 perhaps, a press release from Bungie, etc.

They're (probably) aren't making Halo 3.

They ARE making Halo 2.5.

Given that the timeline of Halo 2 was pretty short(I assume, since most FPS series are, Half-Life being the exception) why couldn't they continue it in the buildup to Halo 3?

I really don't know.

All I know is that they are making Halo 2.5 , and that it's probably going to do stuff. That's it.

And yes, they have officially announced Halo 2.5 .
