So, what do you have in your fridge?

I have a bottle of sparkling white, spinach, tahini and the remains of a giant pizza base I made last night, twice, and screwed up. It looks and tastes like a large pancake, but I have no jam to go with it. :(

38 dead cats found in fridges
From correspondents in Chicago
April 08, 2005

A WOMAN in Indiana was arrested after police found more than 30 dead cats in her fridge, US investigators said today.

Police were tipped off after a woman stopped by the home of her elderly parents who were on holiday.

She was shocked to find the usually meticulous house filled with 15 cats and a dog. Seven dead cats were in a refrigerator, police said.

At Ms Randolph's house, police allegedly found seven dogs and 51 cats in various stages of neglect. Another 31 dead cats were found in the refrigerator, they said.

"We're not really sure what this lady was doing," said Captain Dave Vitek of the Miami County sheriff's department in Peru, Indiana, about 225km south of Chicago.

Ms Randolph was well known for taking in strays, but Capt Vitek said: "No one had any idea she had this many animals in her residence."

He said it was likely her house would be condemned because of the rubbish and faecal matter that had accumulated. The fire department set up a mobile ventilator to make the building safe for animal control officers to work.

Ms Randolph was charged with 110 counts of animal neglect, one charge of theft for unauthorised use of a residence and one charge of criminal mischief. She is being held on a $US330,000 ($432,333) bond.

That's a hell of a lot of stir-fry and haggis! Why the hell would you do this sort of thing man? Euthinasia? I guess she just likes pussies, I bet handling pussies is something she has licked. ;)

Gross! But, you ask what I've got in my fridge, so I will tell you.

A bunch of miscellaneous shit. Some water, some tea, vegetables, cheese, hot dogs, and various other things I probably wouldn't eat.

i may be the only NS er that actually had a dead cat in the freezer- for nine months. i am sure you read the stories.

right now, in my pristine refrigerator- 18 bottles of arrowhead water. 5 avocados ,portobello ravioli, 6 heads of romaine lettuce, 2 pounds of goat cheese, 3 lemons, one package of filet mignon steaks, 4 pounds of broccoli crowns, white vinegar, some chicken that my bf made that tasted like shit, 2 onions, and some brown rice from last nights chinese.

the beer refrigerator is a formidable sight.

no, i got big sets of drawers from walmart for 3 bucks a piece. i know, i know, walmart is evil, but you sure as hell can't beat slave wage prices. anyway. the ramen (3 different brands) takes up 2 and a half of those drawers. my laundry is under my bed.theres a lot of it.

I need to find out how she stored those. I think my fridge would be too small for 38 cats, grown cats that is. I could possibly store one human in my fridge... but 38 cats? Impressive.

I've just got back from holiday so it's something along the lines of:

* A packet of bacon
* Half a pint of semi-skimmed milk, opened
* Half a tin of cat food
* A chutney jar with something at the bottom of it that might not be chutney any more
* A full jar of mayonnaise
* Half a bulb of garlic (?)
* A frozen Cadbury's Creme Egg, sans wrapper.
* A BabyBel wrapper.

Tasty.

errr.. don't know... last time I opened the Fridge, it was pulled outta my hand from the inside. I tried again, but could only crack it open before a voice said "try that again and we'll kill you!" and it slamed shut.

you would think. but no. all it does is warm the bread slightly and make my entire floor smell like burning plastic.

I had a friend at uni who had tiny little square bar fridge. It was a bit crap really, but if he took everything else out, the carefully packed the beers in, he could just fit a slab in there.

just the floor? wouldnt that make it a floorer instead of a toster?

perhaps you should put the toast under the toaster?

A GIRL in eastern India has been married to a dog in a bid to ward off tigers, a report said.
The tribal wedding took place to the beating of drums in a slum on the outskirts of Orissa state capital Bhubaneswar, the Press Trust of India news agency said quoting witnesses.

Local people said the girl had developed abnormalities in her teeth which made her prone to "being devoured by a tiger".

The tribal ritual is believed to rid her of the danger, they said.
