So here's the situation:
You're a music teacher and you genuinely like what you do, but your principal has come to you and given a long speech about budget cuts and blah blah blah and, frankly, you're sick of it, so you decide that after this semester, you're moving on to other things.
You've been offered two jobs which you think worthy of your skills. Which one would you take?
1] Entertainment Editor for a local newspaper. Not very glamorous, but you'd get to see shows free and you'd get to spend more time with your family and it's a managerial position.
2] Staff Writer for an entertainment magazine with wide distribution. The pay is better and it would allow you an expense account to travel to see shows you wouldn't normally get to see. The pay is better than job #1, but you'd have a boss and be subjected to deadlines, word counts, etc.
So ... which would you take?
