Ah the good ol' Pennsylvania Dutch!
Everything from their "7 sweets and 7 sours" when it comes to pickling to the humble doughnut, the Amish have done wonders for culinary enjoyment in the United States.
If you ever see an Amish person, hug them immediately! :)

I saw a special on the Amish the other night. It was all about how there are so many children being sexually abused in the Amish communities. :mad:

Amish food is indeed wonderful, I really like their bread. And they make the best sweetcake...things....
It's a commonly known fact that if you slap the word "Amish" on any product in Ohio, sales will double immediately.

I see it all, my hometown (Dover, OH) is right on the edge of the Amish Universe in Ohio.
Sexual abuse? lol maybe Child Labor (Major problem according to some, but that's the way they do things. Tends to make for very skilled laborers), but that's a new one.
