A great place to debate about Nessie, Big Foot, rods, Mothman, Jersey Devil, Ogopogo, Blue tigers, even Globsters and aliens!!

First, let me clear one thing up, I prefer yeti to bigfoot, second I'm having tea with Nessie, but Mothman, come on you've got to be crazy.

Rods: I've seen a full explanation of what these are. These are actually an effect of how the individual "frames" on a moving picture camera are set up. It's just insects, nothing else.

Loch Ness Monster: I still don't see sufficient evidence for this one. If it was really so hard to find, why don't you just start dynamiting the lake. And if there is one, why haven't we come across a dead one? The photographic evidence is sketchy at best. I'll hold out on a solid verdict on this one, but I'll not totally write this one off like I did the rods.

Bigfoot/Yeti: Shoot one for me and I'll believe it. Although the guy who didn't come out of his room got the nickname Yeti on my floor. He's gone now, still without any evidence that he existed besides repeated claims by our RA, and one bathroom sighting.

Mothman: So that's what I cleaned out of the bugzapper last summer...

Jersey Devil: Can be found on interstate highways, typically in a car going really fast.

Ogopogo: Stick *boing, boing, boing, fall, CRASH* "Damn!"

Globsters: Is that the green guy from the ghostbusters?

Aliens: Probably out there, just not anywhere near here.

Zombies: These need some juice from Dr. Glock.

Then they figured out it was a missing link.

His name was Sasquatch, so I'm told.

Scientists have proven that the Sasquatch, he is real.
Take a look at the plaster cast of his foot, now you know he's real.

"Zombies: These need some juice from Dr. Glock"

One of the best lines on this forum for a long time coming. You, sir, bring a tear to the eye of the still-living living everywhere.

I'll start the debate.

I think the Jersey devil is the best of all the weird monsters described in this thread. It's not only the scariest, but it can kick all the other's asses with one claw tied behind it's back.

And on the Yeti:

Two Yetis meet in Himalaya. The first says: "You know, I just saw Reinhold Messner." "What, he's real????"

I believe in the Loch Ness monster, the Yeti (which may or may not be the same creature or a similar one as Bigfoot), unicorns, dragons, sphinxes, etc. I believe in them all, I think... or I would like to.
