Actually, if you believe in such, then God has no physical form (ergo, He can't be disproven), but can take any form when trying to make contact to man. Another approach is that God himself is the Creation, so He's everything around us and within us. Both would fall under "Other"...

Not in this thread you don't. Start your own thread for that. This is only to discuss what our green, octopus-headed, winged overlord looks like.

I'll go with that. Although I like heated debates where no party acknowledges the other's opinion, it shouldn't smash up a thread devoted to something different.

Actually, the Force is generated by alien microorganisms (Episode 1). I kinda hated that they had to scientifically explain it...

Although it is fun, because God's presence is everywhere, to think that He is energy, or matter, or some sort of enveloping fold that we can't escape, He does not exist on this universe.
If you can comprehend this, God does not exist in time, but, although His presence is there in the 'universe,' to put it in simpler terms, of Time, He exists in one of two planes of Eternity. Hell is completely absent of God's presence, whereas Heaven, the much greater alternative, is constituted of almost nothing BUT God's presence.
It is not real to think of God as on our plane of the universe, our side of eternity, as that shrinks God down, and, although His presence is everywhere you may go, his actual person, the all-powerfully awesome Spirit that is God, rarely is outside of Eternity.
Doubtless I am only coming close to brushing the surface of hoping that I may be able to learn about such insane matters, but what we can discern from down here is still beyond our comprehension.

Apathetic? It's pointless. That kind of debate can never go anywhere productive.

Things that only exist in people's minds can look like anything those people want them too, and therefore 'God' could look like any number of things based on what the individual believes it looks like. Though whenever I think about it I kinda get the image of a ball of energy that laughs at everybody.

Hmm, well it's a well established fact that Jesus was english. Given that, we can fairly safely assume that God was english too. (What with the citizenship laws back in those days).

Therefore I imagine god would look quite a bit like Lord Kitchener.

Well, I think Babylon 5 got it pretty much spot on (in a sort of roundabout way)...

Remember how the appearance of a Vorlon outside of its encounter suit looked like whatever best fit the worldview of the beholder?

I think you can see where this is going...
