One month before the elections this is obviously a political move, but if genuine, and if the Irish justice minister of was correct in his assertion that Adams and two other senior members of Sinn Fein are on the IRA army council this means that at least three of seven of them are in favour of disbanding.
If they pull it off, I’d expect to see them in power in the government of the south within two elections.
