We all have had to go through school, some of us are still in school, so i want to know which subject was the most barible and which one was(or is) the bane of your existance.

English was mine, language, and literature, at A level.

Loved it the most, I had the best teachers, and the most fun of any subject I've had in any school in my academic career.

Science was(and is) where it's at for me. English sucked. :headbang: It drives me nuts. I hate it. Give me chemistry or biology over writing or poetry any day.

Occidio es hermosa y deseo dormir con ella. :D

How can you hate Spanish like that?

Anyway, my favorite subject was and will always be history.

Economics was mine at school - it was mostly theory and just made loads of sense. i never did any work (well, except for the coursework which took me 3 months  ) cos for once in my life something came naturally to me.
then i did the subject at university for a year and it went totally abstract and delved far too far into the murky, stinky waters of mathematics
i sucked at it.

now i like Politics :D

My art classes were my favorites, and the only things I cared about enough to get top marks.

My advanced languages courses were great, when we got into the in depth linguistic analysis and origins analysis. That was just wonderfull. My education classes were also great, stuff that was all common sense and simply explained, only thing I didn't like about them was the forms to fill out...

I very much dissliked my math classes.

I'll rephrase that: "religion"

For exemple: last lessons we looked at 'Lost in translation' on dvd.

In highschool, my favourites were the science classes and music.

In uni, well, I always enjoy my philosophy classes, and i enjoy most of my physics classes (my major) except optics and right now general relativity (it would be one thing if I had the mathematical foundation for it, but I don't)

At the minute I'm doing well in everything... mind I'm only in Grade 11... Psychology and Economics are interesting, even if Psych is not exact, why just today we had an experiment that involved me drinking lots of Coke. Can't go wrong.

Maths all the way. I got 100% in my AH Prelim this year :-)

Which is good. I think...my friends called me "Math boy" at one point. *shudder*

Anyone, I suck at languages. Well, I don't suck as such; I just hate them. I managed French at Standard Grade (equivalent to a GCSE in England - God knows how it relates to the US) because you could simply memorize most of it. But I wasn't good at it.

Same with English. Struck me as stupid and unbelievably boring. Don't get me wrong - I love books. I frequently sit and just read. But dissecting a book...eugh. That's just wrong, IMHO. But again, I learnt what they were after and just did it.

I would have said Computing as well, but unfortunately they decided they had to teach us mostly boring stuff. We only did about 3 months of programming in 3 years! I loved programming...

I like Chemistry and Physics as well, but I prefer Maths.

So...TInk...can I interest you in some late-night integration? [/cheesy chat-up line]

In high school I was a band geek, so-band.

In college I like theory classes-film theory, narrative theory, media theory. I dig thinking about the way narratives are formed in as many forms as possible. I even liked music theory when I was a music major, shifting my desires from being a hot jazz soloist to a composer (not that hot jazz soloist would suck)

I loved Modern History, Visual Arts AND Extension 2 English, which was basically a class where we got to spend the year working on a "major work," which could be a film, play, poem, story, whatever. Great stuff.
