Let's pretend that individual people were like individual nations. The mind is the government. Etc.

What would your policies be like regarding other people? People in general, people of any particular beliefs or looks, etc? Are you a white racist, do you hold no diplomatic relations with black nations? Are you isolationist and neutral, or aggressively colonizing other folk's lives? Do you have many allies, or do you have enemies? Are you at war, or peace? Do you have civil war with yourself? Is your government stable and relatively unchanging, or dynamic and uncertain?

If I was a nation I would be what ever nation does stupid things and embarasses its self all the time.

my 'government' is constantly challenging itself, to do better and to understand more. It activly seeks the views of those out side their own, and tries to understand them better, for understanding others leads to better understanding ourselves. for those that my nation gets along with, allies could be found, but never anything too much beyond, because despite our open mindedness, we don't trust outsiders with our deepest secrets and understandings.

that stance could lead to enemies, for their are those that feel if you hide, you need to be found, and if you are not as they are, you are foes.
