that's because the second syllable in 'female' is 'male', so 'female male', has you saying the syllable 'male' twice in a row, which is uncomfortable.

You know, with the topic title you chose, you are much more likely to attract hordes of males than to attract a representative sample.

I like to think I'm a bit of both. Physically, I'm mostly female, but mentally I'm male. My boyfriend is the other way round, so we fit in quite well together.
