Regarding the Pic thread

I dont know if the Pic thread got un-stickied due to all the spam, but out of resepect for Erastide, some of us went back and deleted our spam. If unstickying it will be causing more work for Erastide, then I'm pretty sure the other members would be happy to go back and delete their spam. She does a great job on that thread and most of us just talk away knowing what a pain it is for her and the mod who has to separate it. Erastide is a very nice person and I just dont want her duties to become more difficult because of lack of self control on our part. Apologies.

Lasc is posting a similar thread in the mod forum, but I know some of you dont go in there.

I dont know if it will, but we wanted to show respect for Erastide since she works so hard on it. This is just an attempt to show goodwill .

I'm not sure they were unstickied on purpose... Most of the stickies seem to have gone MIA..

I deleted all of my spam from the topic. Only one post of mine in there was spam! Imagine that.

It was a massive cleaning - and the profile thread was already re-stickied. :)

Instead of needing a Thread that has all of the pictures available in one place, it could also be an option that a user could add to their profile on the "pull-down" on their member name.

Then, while having a conversation, if a member has submitted a photo and linked it, anyone could "look" at a member by selecting the option in their profile, rather than having to leave the Thread they are in and go to another Thread that is just taking up space at the top of the Forum, if stickied.

Just a thought...

I think that's more of a forum coding problem...and even if it weren't, it would be up to the Jolt admins, not NS's, jurisdiction.

I understand it is coding...

Fairly simple coding, since it is just a slight change to an interface that already exists. A few lines of code to make the additional pull down box and pointers to where the member can put their picture "link"...

Not sure why it wouldn't be NS jurisdiction, they seem to have created their own UI here already, it is just another menu pull down box with links.

I'm pretty sure that, with access to the Source code, I could even code something that simple... :D

You should make an unstickied thread for picture comments and socializing. That way you could have your flirting and not ruin Eristide's work.
