I've found it!

I finally found an accent that compares to mine.
See the movie Big Fish (Tim Burton, 2003). Ed Bloom's (Ewan McGregor) accent is nearly exactly like mine.
Weird. Well, that's a much nicer sound than what my dad's got, that's for sure.

I have to say, you're one sexy man-beast Keru! I don't know why some people don't like southern accents, I find them hella sexy. Southern belle's can sound so elegant! :)

Well, as long as its more of a charming intelligent Anthony Hopkins relation, and not a homicidal man eater relation I guess thats ok!
People have told me that I sound like a west coast surfer... with a bit of a drawl. I'm not sure if thats good or bad! haha! I don't get a lot of compliments on my voice, but at least I've only heard good things about it so far.
West Coast Surfer with a bit of drawl, eh? Fucking glorious.

Eureka! for you, that is :)
If it had been Ewan's actual accent it would have been far cooler though :p

It's not really the accents. It's the mentality and personalities that seem to go along with them. Not all of them, but a hell of a lot.

Well its subtle - but you know, its what you get when you cross someone raised a cowboy with west coast living and then turn him into a snowboarder/wakeboarder... it doesn't sound unusual to people here, but for some reason people from other places, who I would have otherwise assumed had a similar accent, notice it straight away. Oh well, in any case, its mine - and I love it for what it is, popular opinon be damned! :p

Now that's more like it.

I'm going to have to make sure my new place has a basement, so I can keep Keruv and LM all to myself. ;)

It puts the lotion in the bucket!!!
You should try my accent.
I was raised in Oregon. So I got the the kind of relaxed but well ennunciatced smooth English.
I lived from age 12 to 18 in Indiana. So take the good Ennunciation, and the Smoothness, add in a bit of the Mid-west tall corn rasp. ( Wait, it gets worse.)
From 18-20 I lived in California ( San Diego, to be exact). So throw in just a tad of laid back surfer dude.
From California, I moved to Pennsylvania. Add in a bit of Snobberish " First-boat-to-the-colonies" drawl.
From Penn, it was back to Indiana, so throw in some more of the COrn rasp.
Needless to say, my speech patterns are extremely unique. I've been know to say shyt like " Hey dude, ya'll want to swing over to the mall and view a show?"

Now thats a complicated accent! Hey - for what its worth, I find the complicated ones the best of all anyway! Monica Bellucci has the French-Italian thing going on (best accent ever), Thandie Newton has the Zimbabwean-Zambian-British-New Zealander accent (just try and beat that! Wow!!)... the more unique an accent is, the more I'm drawn to it. :)
