It was a good game and I did enjoy it. Though I wanted Illinois to win, I congratulate UNC on winning the championship.

i honestly didn't care much who won. i go to southern, and am therefor a natural enemy of the illini. but, i have a bunch of friends who go to U of I, so....yeah.

Illinois was pathetic for the whole game. I don't care if they're a great three point shooting team, they used it WAY TOO MUCH. In fact, I don't even think they ever really tried to go through to the basket. They just glued themselves to the perimeter and scored that way, being at the mercy of whenever their hot streaks were. There was never an attempt to mix up their plays, and their overreliance cost them the championship. Frankly, I'm surprised they even *got* to the title game (though, granted, this *was* just one game, though if this was an indication of how they always play, frankly I'm surprised they were not bounced sooner).
