well if you want a serious Opinion on this matter (but i fear its too late now)

It's because the general atheist (a flawed term but it will do for now) consensus, is that Religion is generally a harmful thing, Belief is quite literally the opposite to reason, and seeing as atheism is primarily based on reason its diametrically opposed to religion.

We are basically trying to help you, but im sure by preaching you feel your helping us. Its a conflict that will eventually come to a head.
