My friends and I had a long discussion about this a few nights ago. We came up with Party Pope I. He will call the priests his party people. His theme song will be just like the show Dance 360's except instead of saying three six ohhhhh it's three six pooooppppee. And this pope will wear lots of bling and instead of doing the cross symbol to bless things he will do a beer bong.

Why the hell should we even bother with a new Pope? I'm not anti-catholic, nor am I against or for any religion in particular. The Pope annoys me just as much as the monarche for being bitched about.

"The Queen mum died last night": I don't care
"Princess Diana died in a car crash": Who wants to know?
"The Pope is ill": Really? Tell somebody else
"Princess Margaret is in hospital" Shock horror, another report on useless crap

Do you see the trend? If not, heres how it goes:

If some member of the royal family, a president or prime minister, or some holier-than-thou person so much as cuts their finger, the whole nation (if not world) hears about it. If I were to drop dead and explode on the floor for no apparent reason, ITV might do a quick 2 minutes on it (even then, they might not). Hmmmmmm...

The Pope: a useless authority figure for a minority group (because, lets face it, there are less catholics than non-catholics in the world), who gets bitched about on the news. Should we have a new Pope? The answer seems obvious: NO!!!

Unfortunately, the prats with all the power disagree with me.

Disclaimer: Anyone who disagrees with this point to the extent of complaining to moderators, or any moderators who come across this should note the following:

1) This is not a form of lible, therefore I have the right to say this
2) If this is removed, I will cease to believe that webmasters are fair
3) I will know it was a catholic that removed it
