Do you rule your nation by your views?

Do you rule your nation by your views, or do you use your nation to experiment?
Kusarii

Initially I used it to experiment.

When I first created Kusarii, it was as a testbed to see exactly what an authoritarian, even orwellian dictatorship would run like.

After a while though I kinda let it slide and made decisions with regard to what I thought was the right decision.

Lo and behold I come out in the middle of pretty much everything - how boring.

Typically, yes, although occasionally there's a choice to pick from that isn't too much worse than the optimal choice, so I pick that choice just to see what it will say.

Yep, I rule my nation by making the decisions on issues that I agree with, and The Druidic Clans is a 'Civil Rights Lovefest'.....I should be President! Vote Druid Administration! :D

I did use it as an experiment, but now I rule it according to my own views, well some what.

My country is more economically restrictive than my actual views. ANd my political freedoms went down to Very Good for no reason.

Yup, i base it on my personal views for the most part.

And i have a very Moralistic, Religious, Friendly, Politcally Active, Safe nation.

I based my decisions with a heavy religious influence, and in return i have one of the best overall nations in the world. =)

What were you expecting from a religious nation? A theocractic dictatorship?

Let that be a lesson to you Anti-Religion people. =)

No, not at all! The Rogue Nation of Swimmingpool is a socialist psychotic dictatorship!

similiar to my political views, but it isn't exactly. if it was exactly it'd be a tyranny by majority.

Absolutely! I run a nation(actually, as I approach my fourth billion, I switched to a planet) of goofballs just like me. :D

Yeah, hence the Left-wing utopia. :p Although I find myself dismissing quite a few issues since I dislike all the options.

I have to do that almost too often. They should add just a few more Socialist-style options to those!

I run my country the same as i would if i were a political leader. Sometimes i come across a fork in the road, what i want, and what i think is best. So i inevitably choose what i think is best for my country, because that would make me more proud then the quick relief that comes from getting my way..

From what i'm gathering it's looks like a socialist state lol.

Regarding economics and civil rights, yes.

Regarding politics, no.
Demented Hamsters
04-04-2005, 02:25
When I first started, I did. It became a socialist paradise: free speech, well-funded education and health systems, no crime, stunning environment etc. Only drawback was 100% tax.
Then I got bored and starting randomly picking options or delibrately picking the worst one (like mincing up dead people for hamburgers) just to see the effect. I feel sorry for little Hamsters, being ruled by an obviously demented chap such as myself. They don't know day to day what mood I'll be in.

My nation is extreme right-wing, just like me. Except my nation does things I'd never do- like castrate dissidents with plastic knives. :D

Currently I'm a Capitalist Paradise, but I'm trying to change that. Political freedom is far too low, only average.
Czardas
04-04-2005, 02:48
It depends on which nation. I have several. Czardas (Democratic Socialists) and Mauvasia (a very stubborn Inoffensive Centrist Democracy, no matter how much I raise Political Freedoms and Civil Rights!) mostly follow my views, while Temuria (Corporate Police State) is a flat contradiction of my views. As for Klazm (Libertarian Police State), it's unique in that I'm experimenting.
