I found on a site how to change it, but it says I need some infromation sheet. So is there a way(that is free) that I can have my IP change when I want or show a new one each tim the browser opens or the internet connects or something....

Your IP address can only be literally changed every time you connect to the internet. The question is, how do you connect to the internet? Through an always on broadband connection, or a dialup 56k/broadband connection?

If you connect on dial-up broadband it's likely your IP address will change periodically, if not every time you connect to the Internet.

On always on broadband, you will most likely keep the same IP address until your connection is shut down or changed by your ISP. You can request a change in your IP address for an always on connection, but I don't know if they'd grant it, or charge you for the privelige.

56k Dialup IP address change every time you connect to the internet.

Turn Firewall off and then back on.

The only way that'll change your IP address is if you don't have windows patched and blaster reboots your PC.

Firewalls just block access to services running on your machine, they don't mask or change your IP address in any way.

Doesn't firewall choose a random IP address to hide your original.

Try Using a proxy. It won't change your IP but it will send its own to any website you want to vist.

Fere's a free open proxy:http://www.openproxy.ath.cx/

Not any firewall I know of, you might be thinking of a router or proxy as the post above this one states.

If you use a router with NAT as your internet gateway and reset that, it will most likely request a new IP from your ISP, but I doubt if you're asking these questions you have a router :p

If you're using Internet Connection sharing through a microsoft network however, restting the computer that's hooked up to the modem will reset your IP.

The initials of a very well known man.

But seriously, its and address your internet provider gives to your computer so that it can communicate with other computers on the Internet.
