there's a group of people in chicago who wait until winter rolls around, and the lake is partially frozen over. then they go swimming. call them selves the polar bears, if memory serves.
Yeah, I've heard of those guys. They've had parodies and depictions of them on various TV shows.

Once upon a time (early eightys) I was a member of the El Paso Texas Surf. At least those guys have water...
