So, in other news, I've been listening to some older music of late. It's pretty fun. I've always like the Beatles and The Doors, but branching out into other stuff from the time period that existed before I was born is fun.

Well, I was reading it to the voice of John Cleese, and it turned it to pure gold. It was gold anyway, but the sound of his voice turned it from 22 to 24 karat.

Stealing the nutrients from dirt which they had been saving up for years. You obviously don't care about dirt because you have a definite bias toward photosynthesis, and no regards for the hard work that took so long for dirt to do.

But you have to ask yourself… “Self, where would we be without dirt”? (Ok, I didn’t say you would have an answer… ;) )

They've been playing them on RRR for a few months now. The CD is on my "to buy" list, but I haven't got around to it yet.

I have a daughter who is now using the content of this thread as an argument for not eating vegetables. She just wandered off shouting "Carrots have feeling too you know!" and has gone to liberate them form the firdge and set them free in the garden!

We love the cows, they have been saved for posterity.

This reminds me of the phenomenon of "living skeletons" and "hunger artists". (Yes there's a Kafka soty called "the Hunger Artist. It's based on a popular(?) entertainment from the late 1800s and early 1900s.)
