2042 : Mars is ready for colonization as a dome is succesfully built supporting life for 4 million people.
2043 : Water levels have risen dramatically despite the drop in CO² emissions. The sea has risen by 20 meters since 2035. The Netherlands are now called the Sea of Holland.
2046-2048 : China is taken by surprise by a disease called KACIASPOT, a deadly virus that only seems to be destructive to some parts of Chinese/South East Asian DNA. The population drops from 2,2 billion to a mere 600 million in a few years time. The second Cold War is over as the Chinese remnant are heavily dependant on western help to exterminate the disease as fast as possible.
