So do I...

Nah, not really. I have little body fat, so I obviously don't feel fat.

I have no body fat either, but I feel fat.
I ate 2 rather large portions of vege lasagne a couple hours ago, and I feel kind of bloated and unattractive at the moment.
No worries, I'll just make myself well aquainted with my little friend Ana for a couple weeks, and I'll be looking and feeling great in no time.

I am not fat compared to most other people, but since I had been skinny my whole life and have recently gained a significant amount of weight (compared to my previous underweightedness), I do feel fat.

Well, since I've been bitching for the past few months about how I've lost a cup size and now none of my nice bras fit... no. If anything, I'm trying to gain weight. I miss having D-cup cleavage.

Through two months of dangerous levels of stress. No eating + constant state of anxiety = weight loss. And since breasts are almost all fat, they're where you lose it from first. And because I've always had a tiny appetite, I'm having no luck at all with the 'putting weight back on for the sake of breasts' thing.

Le sigh.

There's some sort of bust-increasing chewing-gum you can get... apparently it's big in Japan, or something. 'thas female hormones (not oestrogen, but something close, plus a couple of others).

I'm betting that in five-ten years they find out some sort of close correlation between said chewing-gum and breast cancer.

Quick fixes suck.

I hear pregnancy gets faster results anyway.

However, the 18-21 years after it can be a pain in the rear.

i dunno if i feel fat, exactly, but i definitely feel way out of shape. i think my weight on the scale would be considered normal, not overweight, but way too much of my poundage is flab instead of muscle. i've been amazed by how out of shape i've gotten since starting grad school...i have hardly any time to exercise, and i get so worn out by school that i usually wuss out and don't exercise even when i have the time.

The trick is to shout "Look, it's a clothing sale! All the over-priced crap is now slightly less over-priced!" and then run.

Of course, stuff like that doesn't work when you realise that stereotypes don't apply to everyone.

I did cheerleading for a year 2 years ago and lost 30 pounds... but then I quit (didn't like what the title "cheerleading" did) and so now i'm just involved in marching band... which is only during one season... so I've gained some of the weight i HAD lost back... kinda depressing, cause i don't like the way i look now.

While we're on the subject, what's the overweight or underweight line (in lbs) for females (North American)?
Ge-Ren

I just lost 51 pounds while living in China over the past eight months. I went back to the US last week, and I went shopping for new clothes.

It was a traumatic experience.

I think most women would be very happy to realize they could shop in the "normal size" places, rather than have to go to the "big girl" shops, but I found I wanted to go to the big girl shops and not have my image and shopping experience altered so radically. It's complicated to shop for clothes when you have so many choices. I wasnt' ready to deal with the radical changes in my image. In China, I didn't have to think about it because I am still too big to shop there, so I just wore my old, comfortable, baggy clothes and enjoyed them. When I got home, I felt pressure to buy clothes that "fit," which to me felt too tight.

For the first time in my life, I felt fat when I wasn't.

It is a weird experience. I find myself avoiding the new clothes I bought.

Maybe I'll go eat some cake or something.

It varies, as well it should. Mostly it depends on your height, bone structure, age, and amount of body fat compared to body muscle (as muscle weighs more than fat).

http://www.halls.md/chart/height-weight.htm

This is a site that breaks it down pretty well. Each chart has a curve that represents the average for that height, race, and age.

A little. Since last summer I've been slimming down a lot, but I still have some flab and when a certain pair of pants seemed to "shrink in the wash" it wasn't the best for my morale. I'm pretty over it though.

I feel fat in certain areas, like, love handles surely, and under my chin too. That's like the hardest place to get fat off of. If i'm relaxed it kind of has a very very very slight double chin effect...no creases or anything but it's definately hanging there...annoys the hell out of me when you can see a defined 6 pack :P. It's like a ferrari with a dent in it...it's just not the same! But I dunno, I'm 16 and am 6' 1'' 165 lbs (1.8m 75kg for all you metric junkies on here ;)). So I'm not very big or anything, but I don't THINK I have much fat.

I agree...girls freak out too much about how much they weigh. I see girls all too often going to the YMCA and running on treadmills for like an hour every day, who really don't need to be doing it AT ALL. I'd rather have a girl who's got a little chub than the one I can fit my hands around's waist.

I played soccer for my high school team for 5 years and played for fun outside of school for as long as I can remember. Just gotta be active and enjoy it to stay fit. I hate treadmills and all that stupid gym junk but I love playing soccer.

Damnit. I got a 17.4 on the BMI thing. That means that 93% of people my height (5'8") are heavier than me. I knew I was thin, but not THAT thin...

EDIT: However, I am more likely to live longer (anyone between 17 and 22, apparently)
