This is a commonwealth thread, seein' how I'm in New Zealand... we'll welcome Americans though. American conservatives are the best to bash, after all... the brits' (and ours) seem to be more liberal.

For example, we're all pretty capitalist; this socialist business about the Democrats is Republican propaganda.
Heh, there's a strange stigma about socialism here. For example, I was trying to convince my moderate step-father than labor unions are a good thing, and was trying to explain to him how virtually unregulated capitalism - as per the Industrial Revolution - was a bad thing for people. And he burst out with "That's Socialism, Tyler!" As if it was some kind of obvious moral faux pas.
Should tell you something about politics here. ;)
American conservatives are easier to bash, too. All the politicians are liars and idiots over here; dunno about there...

Its horrible and grossly eliteist, and a very sad reflection on Politics. They created the Poll tax, the exchange rate mechanism (easily one of the worst economic decisions in British history) and it has also contains the Biggest hypocrite ever, Michael Howard who wants to be tough on immigration even though he himself is only a second generation immigrant
