This morning when I clicked the NS Page on my favorites, a list from the Department of Homeland Security forbid Nationstates with 4 f**king rules

1. The foundation of individual nationstates which promote views against the government(article 4)
2. Blah
3. Blah
4. Blah

(Basically I didn't pay attention to 2, 3, and 4)

BUT WTF! Now the government is telling us (Americans) what entertainment we can enjoy and not enjoy?

Did it not give you a clue when it said "Ignorance is strength" etc etc underneath? Do you really think the US Homeland Department would have Orwell's description of a communist state as a motto?

Better yet, would they still let you into the site, and would the "Homeworld Security" have a badly rendered seal and host itself on Nationstates servers?

What is scary is that any one nation would have the gaul to call a department the Home 'World' anything!

That page scared me this morning, because I misread it.

I though ti said Homewood security. Homewood is my school...

I though, 'shit, i've been caught abusing my internet...'

Then i saw the link 'Continue to Nationstates.net' and remembered it was april fools sday, and the school wouldn't do that...

I should really read stuff properly!

I thought it was funny! This is way better than last year's joke! For those of you who weren't here then, I'll fill you in. The mods reset the populations of EVERY SINGLE nation, and we all ot messed up forum titles.

To be honest, this freaked me out because I don't think about what the date is. But then I saw "War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Ignorance is Strength" and figured it had to be a joke.

It's okay, Max Barry. We all still love you. :D

Many people, strangely enough, are actually still shocked and amazed by the endless bounds of US governmental stupidity.

Either that, or can't take a joke!
