the more i hear about FOX supporting bush etc, it is making me more irked about Mr Murdoch to the point where i now feel kinda ashamed to have been born and bred in the same state as him, that being South Australia. but this isnt where it started, and i admit i have a bit of explaining to do here. in 1997, his corporation, News Ltd, formed a break-away compertition from the Australian Rugby League called Superleague, and formed a team called the Adelaide Rams. he was born and bred in Adelaide, while my dad and i were rugby converts living 220 km north in Pt Pirie. at the end of the first season, ARL and News Ltd had patched their differences, and combined once again to form the National Rugby League owning a 50% stake each. however, at the end of the 98 season, it was decided that, after various mergers and such, that 2 more teams needed to be culled. the team News Ltd chose to cull was the Rams. how could a guy take such a dump on his home town! then after many years of the HQ being based in Adelaide, ever since he inherited The News newspaper, he has decided to move it to delaware. talk about turning your back on your home state!

on a side note, my sister-in-law, after finishing top in her year in uni for journalisim, got offered a job with The Advertiser, his current newspaper in Adelaide/South Australia. she turned "Rupert Murdoch's gutter-rag" down!

I used to work for News International, the British wing of Murdoch's media army, and they truly are a desipicable company.
