Now, that said, I will now state the top 10 things I hate about playing D2 on battlenet:

*drum roll*

10. It makes me stay up until 4 in the morning when I should be working.
9. People who come into my D2 game and talk about how WoW is better.
8. The phrase, "U got nething 4 free?"
7. People who ask me to send a TP when I'm in town ... standing right next to them.
6. People who ask me to send a TP when I just did.
5. Spambots.
4. People who ask me if I have maphack, which is a violation, and just saying I do - even if I don't - will get me deated.
3. People who lag up my game with maphack.
2. People who make Cow games but can't make a Cow Portal. Maker: "Who can make?" "Who can make?" x1000
1. When I've spent 2 hours, dozens of lives, 1/2 my experience points, all of my gold, and a lot of cramped fingers busting my hump hacking slowly away at Diablo in the Chaos Sanctuary on Hell level and, at the last second, some jackass pops in my game and takes the last blow on Diablo and uses the D2 Hackpack to auto-snatch the Tal-Rasha's armor that *I* worked so hard for then leaves the game.

I got bored in fifteen minutes! Diablo was never really my "thing".

im surprised people still play that game - its not bad just kinda pointless.. i hate all that - plus the whole rushing thing... how no one ever wants to play the game... they wanna be rush to level 99 and given all the best items for free - whats left to play?!

so many people who would call me a noob... have never played the game through once.. i've been called noob by people who didnt know how to make the stupid cow portal

That is because everyone knows that only n00bs are concerned with actually playing the game or enjoying themselves.

Oh man ... NWN is sweet. I spent hours making my own custom things for that. I haven't played it in a while, though.

I just got around to getting a copy of Thief: Deadly Shadows the other day and it has distracted me from most other games.

yeah, another great game... another one of my favorites im still addited to freedom force. the new one is great as well. but we're getting off topic. i'll stop hijacking.

haha, yes - cuba sounds nice. im normally a cheap bastard, but since that was funnier then hell i guess i can splurge this time.

I still play D2 alot, but I try to avoid it because most of the time when I start playing it takes my whole day. Then after I wasted my time, I think. Oh s**t, I got nothing done on this freaking game today. Then the next day I start playing it again.

You might want to add this in to your list: People you give you a hacked item during a trade that deletes everything you own. (It happened to me even on Closed B.Net.)

Check your graphics card before you buy Thief. Your card *must* support pixel shader 1.1 (or better).
