Ask a person with one ear.

Yes, it's true. Just one of the many things you didn't know about South Osettia. This is a once in a thread-time opportunity to ask me about my life minus one sensory organ. Don't waste it.

What happened to your other ear?
South Osettia

Not entirely sure; birthing problems, I believe. I really didn't want to know all the details, for obvious reasons.

So, does having one ear affect your ability to chew gum?
South Osettia
31-03-2005, 20:49
Er...I have to say, I don't really chew gum. But when I have done, I can't say it has.

DO you have a fake ear? If so has a dog or other small pet ever grabed and made off with your fake ear?

DO you feel phantom ear pains?

Have you ever considered smuggling drugs in your fake ear?
South Osettia

1) No, I do not have a fake ear. Therefore, also no.

2) No.

3) See 1).

You know, I think a resounding NO would have reduced the amount of typing needed for this question.

Is your ear completely off or just part of it?

DO you use hair to cover your lack of ear?

Were you ever teased for having one ear like for example ossy ossy one ear?

Do many people rudly stare at your lack of ear? Do you wish these fools pain?

1) Completely off.

2) No, my hair is very, very straight, and so I am practically bald to avoid every day being a bad hair day.

3) Not that I can remember, although that could have had something to do with people being too busy teasing me for being smarter than they were...

4) Mostly stupid little five year old girls, but I don't wish pain on them...most of the time. When they laugh, however, that is a different story.

Ah, thanks. By the way, the 'before' link in your sig doesn't work.

Strong winds and crowds of talking people mean I am practically deaf to people on my right side. Thus shopping centers by the sea are not good.

There's a very, very small bit of lumped up skin. It is completely closed, though.

Would you pay extra to get a CD player with stereo surround if you could get a monophonic player for less?

I find that people use my deformity as a rather petty and harsh insult when they can't think of anything to say back to my witticisms (which really aren't that good anyway). That really annoys me...and I rarely get annoyed.

I don't listen to music. I have difficulty with earphones.

Just a smidgenbob. :)

As it is, I've never been on a date. Some women can be so superficial...

when youre rich and famous it will be a fad to cut one ear off, just to be like you. THEN all the women will be bugging you for dates.

Did you take the ACT?? If so, what did you get? Are you one of those superintelligent people who scored a 36?

I have no idea what the ACT is. I took the CAT, and my score was off the scale...in the good direction.

The ACT is a standardized test for college-entry-level students. I took the CAT numerous times while I was in grade school also. Most of my scores were also very good. I forget what the highest score is but I recall it ranks you by grade. It also gives you a percentile rank, for which the highest is the 99th percentile. I do remember that.

You could use one of those mini-earphones that fit in your ear without the headband. I hardly ever listen to music, either, though, unless I use it as an ambient background while I do something else.

I can't concentrate on things if there's a lot of background noise. I prefer silence, of which there is little in a house containing five people.

Ok, probably then we are talking about different things. There is a widely-used CAT test in America that is used to test grade-school students; the name stands for California Achievement Test. What is the British CAT test like?

It's ridiculously easy. It was about five years ago since I took it, but the questions are of the sort:

Which of these is a word that means the same as 'break'?

a) malfunction
b) caterpillar
c) watermelon

Of course, they'd be a teeny bit harder than that...

The maths one was even more stupid... Loads of squares at angles... I can't remember.

That sounds about like how I remember our CAT being...

So, I have been trying to think of something unusual to say about myself, but I am not thinking of much. My left thumb is double-jointed and my right thumb is not. Maybe that is unusual.

I also look just like Napolean Dynamite, or so I have been told. Although, since I just had a haircut, I probably do not look as much like him anymore.
